Haiku Ambiance

The sour apple has
a sharp flavor
and an immediate affect
on the senses
that
is much, too much
for many

Bitter teas steals
across the tongue
and attacks the tender
inner cheeks
in that point
where
they meet the jaw,
and the sensation
is tight!

But, oh, the sour apple
and the bitter tea
are a hard medicine,
and not sweet
